This is a love story about six families who live on Guangzhou's Mayang street
and is set in the 1980s, during a time of reform.Ma Xiao Xiao, a neighborhood
schoolgirl, is in a relationship with Ou Xiao Jian, a bad boy. Since they
first met, Ma Xiao Xiao has had a crush on Yi Dong Dong.Yi Dong Dong, an
18-year-old man who moves back to his family's hometown, falls in love with
his neighbor Ma Xiao Xiao right away. He kept his feelings to himself and
shielded her from harm when he realized she was drawn to his friend Xiao Jian.
Xiao Xiao is always concerned about Ou Xiaojian, who spends his time playing
games with other criminals. Ma Xiaoxiao and Ou Xiaojian part ways, completely
exhausted by their differences. Dongdong passes the local civil service exams,
and Xiaoxiao becomes a lawyer later. In the meantime, Xiaojian experiences
numerous ups and downs.
